fort-lauderdale-barsThis is a city that never gets deterred from celebrating! Warm tropical weather year round plus an infusion of international visitors keeps Ft. Lauderdale shaking and moving deep into the night! There’s a bar for everyone in Ft. Lauderdale – all sorts of nightclubs that offer exactly what you’re in the mood for. Whether you’re looking for an elegant place to relax or a rowdy beach dive bar, we’re known for our nightly celebrations and relaxed, beachy atmosphere.

If you’re seeking romantic ambiance, The Wine Room at The Ritz-Carlton offers a sophisticated setting with great views of the beach. This is well-stocked wine bar within the distinguished Ritz-Carlton. They invite visitors to taste and drink wine in style. The other half of the bar offers other drinks. A leather counter with touch-screens offers an interactive review on the vault that cools a 5,000+ collection of fine international and vintage wines. A collection of rare Scotches tops everything off.

Now at the other end of the spectrum – there’s the historic Elbo Room where live music jams all day and night! This very casual bar is popular with the beach crowd as it’s on the prime corner of Las Olas and A1A with indoor/outdoor views of the beach.

Just a little north of the Elbo are Rock Bar and Dirty Blondes. Rock Bar has a lounge type set up and Dirty Blondes is a sports dive bar with some excellent people watching seating outside along the sidewalk just across the street from the beach. Further north toward North Beach Village and Sunrise Blvd. there’s the Living Room at the W Hotel on the beach where you may stroll out onto their terrace with drinks, enjoy people watching on the beach and sublime views of the ocean. McSorley’s and the Parrot Lounge are good hangouts just around the corner…

Locals often go to a block of bars and restaurants along 2nd Street near Las Olas – which has plenty of bars too that should be thoroughly explored. American Social, Mangoes, The Royal Pig – all have something unique to offer. Down the block to the west is Himmarshee Village – as it’s been called. It’s a casual area where jumping in and out of the less-pricey bars offers a fun sampling of great music and contrasting atmospheres.

Now, if you’re looking for LGBT friendly places – Ft. Lauderdale is world famous for its gay nightlife. Nearby Wilton Manors has everything you may want in this hot spot – The Manor, Ramrod, Rosie’s Bar and Grill, Atomic/Boom, Naked Grape and wine Bar, Smarty Pants, Tropics, Rumors…
